Who We Are: Named to honor Joe's mother, Safe At Home's Margaret's Place Program is a comprehensive violence/trauma intervention and prevention program that empowers young people and their school communities to play a role in ending the cycle of domestic violence and other forms of interpersonal violence.
Since the program's inception, Safe At Home has reached 72,000 youth.
Where We Are: Safe At Home has 14 Margaret's Place locations in 4 states – California, New Jersey, New York and Ohio.
How Margaret's Place Works: Margaret's Place Programs support youth by offering a host of intervention and prevention services that provide psychoeducation, support and agency in recognizing/managing direct or indirect experiences of violence and trauma.
